Signs of insomnia can be very evident in many cases but sometimes it can be difficult to notice. Believe it or not, some have gone months or even years with this disorder and had no clue as to why they had trouble sleeping. If you can stop insomnia in its’ beginning stages then you will have a better chance of getting rid of it.
You see, insomnia has dominated many people from across the world and has gone as far as of getting mixed into their personal life. There are 3 cases of insomnia, but most people fall into the first two categories, which are transient, short-term, and chronic insomnia. Which category do you fall in too?
Transient and Chronic
Transient insomnia is the first case. It can affect you for less than 7 days. There is not any real threat in this case. The “short-term” can last a little longer. If you are having trouble sleeping for at night for 7 days to 3 weeks then you have short-term insomnia.
Finally, there is chronic insomnia. This case will last for more than 3 weeks and can go on for several months.
Primary and Secondary
Also, there exist Primary Insomnia and Secondary Insomnia. Primary insomnia is when the cause is not health-related. Secondary insomnia is when the disorder is caused by health-related issues. So, how can I determine if I have insomnia and if so, what case?
The signs of insomnia can come in many different forms and at any time. The important thing to remember is that as soon as you find out you have insomnia, take immediate action. Here are a few symptoms of insomnia for you to determine if you a victim.

This is one of the more dangerous signs of insomnia, which is poor concentration. If you are having a difficult time focusing at work or in school, that is a sign. If you are not focused properly throughout your day, then you are a disaster waiting to happen.
Memory Malfunction
If you are not concentrating correctly then more than likely your memory is not going to be functioning properly either.
Tiredness During The Day Hours
Feeling fatigued all the time is another vital sign that should not be ignored. Racing Thoughts
Has your mind ever-racing, just thought after thought before you went to bed? That can cause you to have trouble drifting off to sleep, so if your mind seems to not want to shut down then you could have insomnia.
Pure Drowsiness
Drowsiness is another among the signs of insomnia. Ironically, that would be the idea, to become sleepy and drift into a deep sleep. But people with insomnia feel like this throughout the whole day because they did not get a complete night’s rest the night before.
Mood Changes
Insomnia can really affect your mood towards yourself and others. This is dangerous because it can ruin your relationships that are important to you or just make you have a real negative perception of yourself.
Massive Migraines
You will have headaches that are consistent because your body is not getting the proper rest to relieve the heaviness from your brain. Until your insomnia is treated, you will continue to experience the headaches.
Trouble Falling Back To Asleep
This is really noticeable amongst the signs of insomnia. If you happen to wake up in the middle of the night you will have major difficulty falling back asleep.
Consistently Waking Up In The Middle of The Night
This is more focused toward the issue of pains problems or other medical issues during the night.
As you can see these are some of the most common signs of insomnia. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it would be wise to seek a solution to cure this issue. Do not continue to put up with your insomnia. The faster you get rid of it the sooner you can sleep throughout the whole night, comfortably.
